Objective or Mission of the Ministry: The purpose of this Ministry is to reach out and invite people to consider looking into the Roman Catholic Church. Also to help prepare those who are interested in the church to receive the sacraments of initiation. To walk with candidates for full communion by welcoming and sharing their experience of being a Catholic.

Key Activities:

• Writing, calling or visiting perspective candidates
• Exploring the Sunday Readings with candidates
• Walking with a particular candidate to help introduce them into this Community as a sponsor or parish partner
• Providing hospitality for specific meetings and for the Liturgical Rites.

Without a doubt this is the ministry that will greatly enhance your own faith journey. As we travel with others we begin to look into our own journey. We also learn more about our God through looking at Sunday Scriptures and the Teachings of the Catholic Church. This Ministry depends on having Candidates interested in learning more about the Faith. It is the responsibility of all active Catholics to encourage others who might be interested in developing their faith life.
