Meeting Times: Saturday meeting in September, January and May

Objective or Mission of the Ministry: This group gathers with parents who wish to have their infant children (under 7) Baptized in the Catholic Church. We look for a team approach so that new parents can hear from a diverse group of parents. Parents share their experiences of raising Christian children.

• Sharing Catholic Teachings on the Sacrament of Baptism
• Offering hospitality to the new families

Why Should Individuals Join This Ministry? This ministry is an easy, wonderful way to share and encourage young couples as they begin a new journey as parents. This is an important moment in an individual’s faith journey. If you are a parent you probably remember the awe you felt in holding your new infant daughter or son. Parents are open to God’s presence in their life and as a team we have the opportunity to share with them our own experience of taking that experience and building on it with their new child. If you think you have something to say about your experience as a Christian Parent you would be an asset to our team.
