Our Parish Mission
We at St. Mary of the Assumption, in Scottsville, New York, are a small parish with a big heart. United through Baptism, we gather as Roman Catholics, celebrating our faith and worshipping God through prayer and sacraments. Using the Gospel as our guide, we share the joy and sorrow of our parish family and compassionately reach out to our brothers and sisters in the wider community. As stewards of the gifts God has given us, we work to become the Body of Christ, sharing Jesus' love by living the Word of God. We are committed to prayer, service and continuing our faith journey together.
